General Info -- Kaua'i World Challenge

News, Updates, & Notices:

April 5th, 2009 - Only online PAYMENT is closed. You can still fill out online registration without payment until 8pm Hawaii time Thursday April 9th. Late registration will take place on Friday April 10 at Lydgate Pavillion where last years race dinner and registration was held. All paddlers need to plan to attend to sign race waivers and receive your race packets/numbers and final instructions. If you are planning on racing and have not preregistered, please grant us the courtesy of emailing us your intent to register on Friday April 10 @Lydgate which will be FINAL. No registration will take place on Saturday morning. Email laolalake@yahoo.com as soon as possible. Anyone wishing to sell used paddling equipment, boats, boards, accessories etc. welcome to bring for display at either registration or at the end of the race.

April 4th, 2009 - For the 4 legged 4 person teams the entry fee is only $50 per person not $100. We want to encourage as much participation as possible and each of those people would only be doing one leg each. Each one will still be allowed to participate in the Thursday prerace Kalihiwai to Hanalei course and each receive a race shirt and the Friday night dinner and Saturday afterparty.

Mar 30th, 2009 - There is room for a few boats onto a trailer headed to Kauai for the KWC. You must be ready to load your boat onto the trailer at Kaimana Beach immediately after the State race on this Sunday April 5th. There is NO charge for the one way ride. Boats NOT going onto the solo after the KWC will need to go onto a mixed pallet for shipping from Kauai back to Honolulu on Monday April 13th - you would just pay for your boat to go Kauai to Honolulu. For more info call Luke Evslin at 6356623.

Mar 7th, 2009 - Race information updated.
